My Dad By XeNeX (ChadMan) He was there when I was born, To raise me right he was sworn. We would play, around and around he'd run, My dad was always loads of fun. He would pick me up and throw me into the air, And he told me that life isn't always fair. He taught me wrong from right, and not to cheat, He taught me how to walk carefully across the street. He told me that someday Id be a grown man, And to always to do the best I can. When I was a bit older I thought that my parents were dumb, And that I could outsmart everyone. Then my dad told me something-bitter sweet, That you can't cheat a cheat, because you'll always get beat. I still got a lot of life left, a lot more of life's bend, And I realized that my Dad is my best friend. He's been there through the thick and thin, And when I led astray too far, he'd pull me back in. And as my parent, as my friend, He'll be at my side till the end. No matter what's the rage or the coolest fad, Nothing is cooler than my Dad is.
